Anyways, we are very proud of the repeating laudation we got during the exhibition and we take it as a motivation for us to continue realizing user friendly software systems with visualization of the relevant data.

Matthias Wissmann, president of VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie) made up the balance at the IAA final conference in Hannover.

We, meaning the LKS, agree altogether. The ambitious aims were excelled in all fields and we are especially excited about the numerous new contacts which will keep our sales team busy during the fair’s postprocessing. We are looking forward to doing interesting projects, but continually we will subordinate the financial statement under the high quality scale which we are known for.

With having the new designed booth we notably present the strengths of our transport management systems. Like always, we want to be near to the customers and to all those interested; informing but not pushing.

Not only the using of the most recently developed functions - particularly from CoTrIS Road - but also examples of our successful telematics integration system are introduced there. When choosing the projects the emphasis was not on the partners' positions but rather on the different aims which could be achieved with the respective solutions.

LKS stellt neue Software vor

Die LKS - Logistik Konzepte Software GmbH hat ein neues Programm für den Straßentransport entwickelt.

"Mit dem CoTrIS-Road Modul d-time lassen sich die Lenk- und Ruhezeiten der Fahrer individuell planen und überwachen", sagt Geschäftsführer Wolfgang Schmid. So werden die Soll- , Ist- und jetzt auch Plan-Fahrzeit abgeglichen und Differenzwerte ermittelt.

Der Disponent kann daraufhin den Fahrereinsatz und damit die Tour optimieren.

Tomtom navigation systems is a common term to all those interested, at least those who are interested in the automobile industry. We have brought forward proof that the mass products of the consumer section could build a basis for professional fleet communication with CoTrIS, even for industries with several hundreds of transport units.

With Tomtom providing its Link boxes and the vehicle hardware as well as the positioning communication ability, it enables us to turn the usage and aggregation of data into an efficient and integrated transport management. From automatic transmission of orders in the truck navigation to status reports and their respective system based subsequent processing to refuelling stops and travel time scheduelling and controlling, the functions of CoTrIS have been adjusted successfully for the cooperation with Tomtom Work.

For sure, we wouldn’t accept it from many telemaitc partners, if their hardware were “thrown” at us. But in case of the AIS the extraordinary ruggedness of the devices can be testified by that. This is especially for degraded functions like scanning or photographing a vital condition for the high customer satisfaction.
