...and navigational systems for front-seat passangers
The international taxi exhibition in Cologne (November 5th and 6th 2010) stood out for its great number of visitors. But despite all the busynesse were not only able to present out TomTomtools for passanger service but also to take the time and benefit from an exchange of experiences. While experts adapted our professional knowledge from transport logistics to passenger service, it was us that realized some new approaches to that area.

There is no one who hasn't had the bad feeling yet, that the driver didn't take the shortest route? These doubts would no longer exist if there was a navigational system that is accessible to the passenger...
Although I am sure that more and more telematics systems are installed into taxis in order to transmit the taxi's latest position and also to control whether the taximeter is used correctly, it wouldn't hurt to have these in more that just the passenger services that are mentioned above. But would you be willing to pay for this service? The very positive résumé of the exhibition is the result of the agreements about strategical partnerships and the very positive feedback on our tools. Another result of the exhibition was, due to the many conversation, the own voice itself not being able to produce more than undertones for the next few days.
